The Railway Museum E5 series Shinkansen simulator

Using footage shot in 4K, it allows you to experience driving over 3 sections of the Tohoku Shinkansen at 320 Km/h. The driver’s console includes real parts, and the DS-ATC safety signalling system and the operation of all the mechanisms are faithfully reproduced. On 3 displays the speedometer, S-TIMS and other details are visualised. It was introduced after The Railway Museum’s renewal in 2018.
