Travel Journal Educational Foundation’s Airline, railway, hotel, theme park college Tokyo (will be renamed in April 2024, previously “Hospitality and Tourism college Tokyo”, in Tokyo, Nakano), and Osaka Railway and Tourism College (will be renamed in April 2024, previously “Hospitality and Tourism college Osaka”, Osaka) will introduce Ongakukan’s simulator for the training of train conductors.
The simulator will make use of footage shot on a exclusively reserved train thanks to the collaboration of Kanto Railway Co.,Ltd., and will include emergency scenarios.
This will be the first real footage training simulator for conductors introduced by an education institution in all of Japan.
Ongakukan, in an effort to support the development of students that strive to work in the railway industry, plans to complete the project by March of 2024.
